The Surf Survival Certificate represents the most popular ‘entry level’ surf education program offered by ALAQ. This program is aimed at year 8 and 9 students, however it can be tailored to suit participants 12 years and above. The Surf Survival Certificate focuses on fostering the development of the participants’ knowledge and skills in surf safety, surf skills and self-rescue techniques. Students participating in this course will gain a broad range of skills and knowledge to be confidence and capable in surf specific sports as well as other aquatic environments.
