This course incorporates the unit of competency - HLTCPR201A - Perform CPR.
The Electrical Council of Australia (ECA) states that under the current Queensland legislation “Electrical Safety Standard”, LVR - including the CPR component - must be renewed every 6 months.
A person completing this course is able to conduct a Low Voltage Rescue of a victim and carry out Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) as well as provide initial treatment of burns.

4 - 6 hours (Full Course)
2-3 hours (Update – Every 6 months)
PRE-REQUISITES
• The minimum age requirement for LVR is 15 years
• It is expected that participants will possess ‘hands on’ experience within the building and construction industry

ELEMENTS OF COMPETENCY
On successfully completing the training and assessment, participants will obtain certification for:
• SLSQ Award Certificate in Low Voltage Rescue (non-accredited) (valid for 6 months)
